Lori, I appreciate this very much. I resonate with those moments of guilt. In many ways my anger at the system was far easier and more empowering to experience, not as frightening and horrible guilt of being a ‘bad mother’, and I did demonise the woman who led the group. But I object to inflexibility and rhetoric in all its forms…this was just in a context that felt more personal than most. Thanks for writing and sharing what you experienced.
